For private-practice therapists, coaches, healers, nutritionists and everyone adjacent
The ASI Method takes the income you need to take home and works backwards, through real tax maths for your state, to the revenue you must gross, what a single hour of your time has to earn, and how far that is from where you are now.
Eight questions. Your figures. One report.
Example · a hypnotherapist at six sessions a week
She wanted to keep $14,000 a month.
The problem
Not because you charge too little, though you might. Not because your structure is wrong, though it might be. Because nobody has ever put the number you want and the week you are willing to work on the same page and shown you what they do to each other.
The blind spot
A good month and a bad month look the same from inside. You were busy in both. Nothing tells you which decision made the difference, so you cannot repeat it.
The ceiling
The calendar is full, the money is not there, and the only lever anyone ever suggests is working more. You already know that is not available.
The stall
You have wanted the same figure for two years. It has never been broken into anything you could act on this week, so it stays a wish.
What everyone does instead
None of these are stupid. Each one is the obvious response to a slow month, which is exactly why they are so common and so rarely questioned.
Reaction one
A new package feels like progress. It usually splits the demand you already had, adds a decision your client did not want, and costs you a funnel to explain it.
Reaction two
Sometimes this is exactly right. But raising a rate without knowing what an hour has to earn is a guess, and a guess that lands short feels like proof you cannot charge more.
Reaction three
The one move that always works, until it does not. It trades the thing you cannot get back for the thing you can, and it is the fastest route to leaving this work entirely.
The solution
Instead of guessing which of those three moves to make, you get the arithmetic that decides it. One question at a time, answered in your own figures before the next one is asked.
What do you need to take home each month?
The amount that actually lands in your account, after tax and after every business cost. Not revenue.
$8,000and you will see the revenue you have to gross, your tax set-aside, and what one hour of your time has to earn
What has to come in the door?
Gross revenue required
$13,566$162,792 across the year, so you end up keeping $8,000 a month. Washington charges B&O on everything that comes in, not on your profit, so $214 of that leaves every month whether you profit or not.
How many hours a week can you deliver?
Client-facing hours only. Not hours at your desk. Be honest rather than optimistic, because every figure after this is measured against it.
6hrsand you will see how full your month is, and what one hour has to earn
Every hour you sell must earn this
Per delivered hour
$522Nothing you currently sell clears $522 an hour. Your strongest is the Breakthrough Session at $389. That is not a failure, it is the arithmetic telling you the structure has to change rather than the effort.
What is inside
One scrolling report, not a dashboard of tabs. Each section unlocks by being answerable, so you are never staring at a blank screen wondering where to start.
Take-home to gross, through real tax for all fifty states, with your quarterly calendar and set-aside.
Your delivery ceiling in hours, what it is holding, and the sixteen weeks ahead.
Every offer priced in two currencies: what it pays, and what it costs you in hours. Overlaps named.
The practice you have against the one you want, and the routes across the gap.
What a client costs to find, what they are worth over their life, and whether it is safe to spend.
Where a membership settles, what churn really costs, and the count that covers everything.
Ten thresholds in the order they stop being the thing in your way.
Five tiers of leverage, what each pays, what it costs to build, and which are open to you today.
The part most tools skip
A planner that always finds a way is flattering you. This one refuses to print a number it cannot stand behind, and says so plainly.
When it refuses
Nothing priced means nothing to measure. It will not invent a placeholder price to fill a card, and it will not hand you a projection built on one.
When it disagrees
Where two sound methods give different numbers, it shows both and explains which question each one is answering, rather than quietly picking a favorite.
When you are already right
Published conversion rates are a starting point. The moment you have real numbers, yours are the ones it plans with.
Who built it
Sixteen years and more than 5,000 clinical sessions, and every business mistake this tool now catches. The offer proliferation, the underpricing, the discovery calls that never paid. It was built from the inside of a practice, not from a spreadsheet.
I kept adding offers because I thought the problem was that people had nothing to say yes to. The problem was that I was selling my hours, and there are only so many of them.

Questions
No. It works for any solo practitioner who sells their time: coaches, nutritionists, therapists, bodyworkers. The maths is the same whether you charge $99 for two hours or $20,000 for six months, and the tool has no opinion about which is right.
One question. You get a real answer before the second one is asked. Filling in the whole picture takes about fifteen minutes, and you can do it across several visits.
Your plan is yours. It is not shared with other members, and nothing you enter is ever shown to anyone else. If we ever add anonymous benchmarking it will be opt-in, aggregate only, and never computed from a group small enough to identify you.
No, and most people do not. That is rather the point. Guess, see what the answer looks like, then come back when you have something firmer. The tool tells you which guesses are load-bearing.
It will tell you what the arithmetic says, which is sometimes that. But deep change happens in a room with one person, and nothing in the tool suggests otherwise. Leverage is what buys back the hours to do that work properly, not a replacement for it.
Your plan is saved. Come back whenever and it is still there.
If your hour needs to earn $429 and it is earning $180, that difference has a number, and the number repeats every month until something changes. One question is enough to find out what yours is.
